The aim of the Workshop, promoted by the Italian Magnetism Association (AIMagn) and organized in collaboration with the Institute of Structure of Matter (ISM) of the National Research Council (CNR), is to present and discuss the recent results of magnetic investigations performed exploiting large scale facilities such as the Synchrotron Radiation, Free Electron Laser, Neutrons and Muons sources and High Magnetic Fields.
The workshop will provide a broad spectrum of applications of the above facilities to the study of fundamental magnetic phenomena and the macroscopic and microscopic properties of the magnetic materials.
Specific opportunities offered by the Italian and European infrastructures to the scientific community will be illustrated, together with access procedures.
