About the school

The 4th Italian school on Magnetism will provide a deep and comprehensive updated state of the art of the applications of magnetic materials and devices in the field of biomedicine. The program will be divided in two sessions: a first one consisting of introductory lectures on the fundamentals of magnetism and properties of magnetic materials and a second one of specialised lectures. The school is addressed to italian and foreigner graduate and PhD students, as well as to post-doc and young researchers.

Program

Students are invited to shortly present their scientific activity in a dedicated session (poster pitch 5min maximum) and to prepare a poster to be displayed for the whole school duration.
Please send a short abstract to scuola2018.aimagn@gmail.com following this template

Posters must be in A0 paper size, vertical (portrait) orientation. Please note that the panels do not allow hanging patchwork posters, i.e. the poster must be a single A0 sheet of paper and not a collection of smaller sheets.

There is no printing facility on site. Poster presenters are requested to come with their poster already printed, including title, authors and any other relevant information. See final program for assigned code

The necessary items to attach the poster to the panels will be provided on site.

Registration

Registration on line will be available from February 1st 2018

Fee (before 16 April extended to 4 May)
Registration: The fee is 100 € for AIMagn members and 130 € for all other participants

Fee (after 16 April after 4 May and on site)
Registration: The late registration fee is 150 € for AIMagn members and 180 € for all other participants

The conference fee will cover conference kit and refreshments during coffee breaks. Please note that the accommodation is not included in the registration fee
