Dear All,
we receive and forward the following announcements:
EVENTS ENDORSED BY AIMAGN
- Magnet 2026
We are happy to announce that the abstract submission is now open for the IX Italian Conference on Magnetism MAGNET 2026 which will be held in Lecce, February 4th – 6th, 2026 co-chaired by Giuseppe Maruccio, Anna Grazia Monteduro, and Silvia Rizzato.
Please, send your abstract by following the instructions on the webpage (https://magnet.aimagn.org/instructions-for-authors/)
The deadline for the submission is 24th November, 2025.
The IX Italian Conference on Magnetism is promoted by the Italian Magnetism Association. The conference is aimed at presenting and discussing recent experimental and theoretical achievements in fundamental magnetism and its applications, bringing together researchers from Academy, Research Institutions and Companies active in the field of magnetism.
The main topics will be:
• Magnetism
• Magnetic materials and their applications
• Molecular magnetism
• Soft and hard magnetic materials
• Low dimensional magnetism, thin films
• Sustainable magnets and magnetic applications
• Nanomagnetism, nanoparticles, and
nanostructure
• Magnonics
• Spintronics
• Superconductivity and magnetism
• Magnetism in medicine and biology
• Sensors and magnetic memories
• Advanced measurements techniques
• Theoretical and computational models in magnetism
• New frontiers in magnetism
We look forward to seeing you in Lecce!
- Roberta Ciprian Award
During MAGNET 2026, the “Roberta Ciprian Award – Young Researcher in Magnetism” will be presented. This award was established to formally and continuously continue the initiative created in 2019 and promoted by family and friends in memory of Roberta Ciprian.
The award recognizes outstanding contributions to fundamental and applied magnetism by young researchers. Any scientist familiar with the candidate work may nominate them for the award. Self-nominations will not be considered.
The nomination package must include the following:
• Completed nomination form (template available on the website)
• Between one and three letters of support
• Candidate curriculum vitae (maximum two pages)
• List of the candidate six most significant publications, with brief comments and full citation information (maximum two pages)
Each nominator may propose only one candidate and cannot write a support letter for another candidate. At least one letter of support must come from someone not affiliated with the candidate institution.
All documents must be combined into a single PDF file named SURNAME_Ciprian_Award.pdf, where SURNAME is the candidate last name. The PDF must be sent to the AIMagn Secretariat (segreteria@aimagn.org).
Further information is available on the website: (https://www.aimagn.org/2025/07/07/roberta-ciprian-award-3/).
Cordiali saluti,
la Segreteria AIMagn
